Felysa

Felysa is a Hungarian-born pianist, vocalist, songwriter and emerging producer whose artistic world blends cinematic European nostalgia with modern soul-infused atmospheres. Moving between Budapest, New York and the imagined landscapes of the Italian and French Riviera, her work is deeply rooted in memory, elegance, storytelling and emotional reinvention.

Born into a world filled with old records, classic European songs and the emotional atmosphere of another era, music became part of her identity from early childhood. Artists such as Dalida, Mina, Aretha Franklin, Amy Winehouse and The Beatles became lasting emotional and artistic reference points in her musical journey.

After spending many years in Manhattan collaborating across artistic disciplines and developing her earlier jazz-oriented projects, Felysa returned to Europe shortly before the pandemic — a turning point that transformed not only her musical direction, but also her artistic identity. During this period she began focusing more deeply on piano, songwriting and building an increasingly independent creative universe around her own voice, compositions and visual concepts.

Her sound moves between intimate piano-driven songwriting, cinematic pop textures, soulful vocals and atmospheric electronic elements. Themes of longing, femininity, nostalgia, travel, memory and artistic freedom continuously reappear throughout her music and visual storytelling.

Her single My Galaxy marked her debut not only as a vocalist and songwriter, but also as a producer shaping her own sonic direction. Since then, her artistic universe has continued expanding through both original music and reinterpretations connected to her cultural roots and personal memories.

One of her recent projects, Cserháti 77, pays tribute to legendary Hungarian singer Cserháti Zsuzsa through newly recorded interpretations and live performances. At the same time, her evolving concert series Vintage Live explores the emotional atmosphere of the French and Italian Riviera of the 1960s and 70s — blending Hungarian and international classics, original compositions, live piano, vocals and subtle electronic textures into a nostalgic yet contemporary live experience.

Alongside her music releases, Felysa is also building a curated audiovisual universe through her YouTube playlists and storytelling projects, where old European atmospheres meet contemporary cinematic music.

Balancing vintage elegance with modern independence, Felysa continues to shape a deeply personal artistic world — one that transforms memory, emotion and nostalgia into immersive musical experiences.
